St. Louis, Missouri - Development and Alumni Relations Coordinator
The Development and Alumni Relations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting all activities of the Development and Alumni Relations Department. This individual will assist the Director of Advancement in ensuring that all goals and objectives of the Development and Alumni Relations Department are met. This individual will also assist in the coordination and facilitation of Conference Programs at our sites in Michigan and New Hampshire throughout the year.
Major Duties:
- Help maintain the alumni/donor database to ensure accurate, timely and confidential alumni and donor information
- Assist with all department mailings, including writing and design
- Help to develop and grow fundraising efforts
- Attend and Assist with all events, including the annual golf tournament in May
- Answer phone calls, emails and questions from alumni and donors
- Assist with Friends of AYF projects, an alumni group in St. Louis dedicated to promoting awareness and raising funds for the AYF.
- Assists coordinate and facilitate Conference program in Michigan
- Other responsibilities/duties designated by the Director of Advancement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in related field preferred
- 1-3 years related experience
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, MSWord, Excel
- Experience with data base systems, Raisers Edge experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Excellent typing and proofreading skills,
- Data management skills
- Program Facilitation skills
