Miniwanca, in Shelby, Michigan

Food Program Manager at Camp Miniwanca

Miniwanca is seeking an energetic, friendly and dependable individual to join the full-time team. The primary responsibilities of the position are to plan and serve nutritional meals; organize and ensure efficient operation of the front and back of the house and the dish rooms; and recruit, hire and train large kitchen teams.  The ideal candidate will have proven experience in large batch cooking, strong communication and organizational skills and hold a Food Safety Manager or ServSafe certification.  The right candidate will like a challenge and be flexible, collaborative, have strong administrative and planning skills, be able to work weekends and long hours during the program season and have a good driving record.
