In congruence with AYF's
mission, the staff of Miniwanca create and deliver customized
educational programs. These programs require a balance of physical and
emotional investment from our participants and staff alike, so that our
challenge of discovery produces meaningful growth for each individual
group we serve.
Our facilitators use fun
and engaging experiential activities as metaphors for real world
challenges. Immediate results lay the foundation for long-term benefits
in one's home community. The activities are designed to create a
supportive environment where participants achieve goals the could not
be attained individually.

The Community and School
Programs Team will work with a coordinator from your organization to
create and implement a program to suit the needs of your participants
and accomplish your desired outcomes.

performance standards and outcome measurements, and we will customize
our programs to meet your goals. We'll create one of the most memorable
and FUN experiences your school will ever have.
Sports Teams:
We have the facility to support athletic practices, and trainings to
provide the team building, leadership and character development that
propel teams to a whole new level. Teams walk away stronger, and individuals gain skills they
can apply to all facets of their lives.
Youth Groups & Clubs:
For over 80 years we've been developing young leaders by challenging
them to discover and share their best. We regularly work with
organizations ranging from student governments and clubs to faith-based
youth groups.
Staff Enrichment Programs:
There is no better place to broaden your professional skills, renew
your spirit and have fun with colleagues than Miniwanca. We will work
flexibly with you to plan your program.
 Conference
& Workshops: Miniwanca can
accommodate groups of 12 to 500 people for conferences, trainings,
workshops, meetings, or retreats. Groups will enjoy our beautiful setting that supports a
balance between focus and relaxation. With several levels of
accommodations from rustic cottages and cabins to dormitories to lodges
that overlook Lake Michigan, we have what you're looking for. Healthy
and delicious meals are served by our fulltime food program staff.
